Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between vh ff (ranked 4695 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badau Aguiar (ranked 5140 p4p, 0 weight class). Badau Aguiar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ff gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Aguiar has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Rio. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Aguiar drops back looking for a leg! ff is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and ff manages to kick Aguiar off! Aguiar jumps back into ff's guard.

Aguiar got a little sloppy there for a moment and ff has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aguiar has managed to get both his arms back between ff's legs - danger averted.

ff drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and ff jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Aguiar holds on and takes a little breather.

Aguiar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has ff pinned against the cage. ff gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
ff drops down looking for a counter takedown but Aguiar sprawls and moves away.
Aguiar shoots for a double leg takedown but ff sprawls well. He's pushed Aguiar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aguiar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

ff has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Aguiar. Oh but ff has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Aguiar goes limp - he's gone! ff jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
