Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mondial Dos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rodriguez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rodriguez dips to his left and cracks Dos with an uppercut!
Rodriguez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dos.
Dos dodges the punch combination from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Mondial Dos has been cut.

Dos drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dos pushes down on Rodriguez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Dos prevents Rodriguez from standing back up.

Dos stands up and beckons Rodriguez to join him on the feet.
Dos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodriguez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dos gets a takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dos is looking to take a break and control but Rodriguez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dos works his way into full mount!
Rodriguez is desperately trying to improve his position but Dos has a good base and remains in mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rodriguez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rodriguez is looking to improve his position but Dos isn't that keen on the idea.
Rodriguez is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Dos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dos quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dos but it's paid off an Rodriguez is forced to tap! Nice work by Dos.
