Kruger looks to land a left hand but Ellis moved out of range nicely.

Ellis has Kruger up against the cage in a clinch.

Kruger blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kruger swings wildly with an uppercut but Ellis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ellis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kruger's elbow.

Ellis breaks from the clinch.

Dock Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kruger flicks out a counter leg kick but Ellis steps away.

enabling Kruger to counter with a crisp jab.

Kruger fails to land with a series of punches.
Kruger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ellis throws out the jab.
Ellis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kruger momentarily.
Ellis tests Kruger's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Kruger is still on wobbly legs! Can Ellis finish him?
Ellis throws a shot from downtown. Kruger moves away and avoids it.
Kruger seems to have recovered his senses.
Ellis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ellis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kruger ducks right into an uppercut from Ellis.

and Kruger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ellis misses with a right hand
and Kruger counters with a big right hand! Oh Ellis is in trouble here! Kruger follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
