The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Templeton uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Templeton tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
Templeton doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson scores with a jab to the head.
A head kick misses from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Templeton clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage.
Jackson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Templeton with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jackson tries to score a body lock takedown but Templeton shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Templeton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Templeton blocks a jab.
Jackson rushes Templeton with punches - Templeton moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Templeton goes down! Jackson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
