Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vener Galiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cetnik Milos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Milos's choice of entrance music: Mars Na Drinu. Cetnik Milos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vener Galiev! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cetnik Milos! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Galiev tries to avoid it but Milos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Galiev to the ground. Galiev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Milos tries to clinch there but Galiev circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Galiev.
Milos tries for a takedown but Galiev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Galiev clinches up with Milos and pushes him back against the cage. A hook to the body from Milos.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Milos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cetnik Milos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Galiev feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Milos's calf. Milos stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Galiev. Milos drives through with a takedown into guard. Milos looks gassed! Milos is looking to work some ground and pound but Galiev has wrist control. Galiev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Milos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Galiev looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Milos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Galiev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Galiev tries to land a sweep but no joy. Milos advances to half guard. Galiev is in trouble now - Milos has advanced to mount! Galiev is trying desperately to improve position. Milos postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Galiev looks a forlorn figure.

Galiev keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Milos can't control as he wanted to and Galiev manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Milos has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Galiev is wriggling around trying to escape.

Milos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Galiev gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Milos thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Galiev is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Milos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Galiev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Galiev drops back looking for a leg! Milos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Milos manages to kick Galiev off! Galiev jumps back into Milos's guard. Milos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Galiev manages to get himself to full guard.

Milos has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Galiev. Milos takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Milos jumps back into Galiev's guard. Galiev working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Milos. Milos throws a sloppy strike and Galiev has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Milos is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Galiev!
