Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Aoki (ranked 4571 p4p, 496 weight class) and Houston Dallas (ranked 4609 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki lands a high kick!
Dallas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aoki sprawls well initially but Dallas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dallas seems to be looking for submissions.
Dallas is just content to waste time from the top position. Aoki takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Aoki being controlled here, momentarily.
Dallas chips away with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dallas looking to pass the guard.
Dallas wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving.
Dallas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dallas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dallas trying to control but Aoki is working from the bottom.
Aoki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dallas on the ground.
Dallas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aoki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dallas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Aoki's guard.
Dallas is trying to work for a kimura but Aoki is defending well.
Dallas lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Aoki has hold of Dallas's hands but Dallas slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Dallas is working for a submission of some sort.
Dallas in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Aoki tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Dallas!
