Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sabre Sloane (ranked 2090 p4p, 261 weight class) and David Danis (ranked 4476 p4p, 443 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabre Sloane! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Danis! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Danis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Danis throws a leg kick that is checked and Sloane counters with a nice uppercut. Sloane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Danis's head backwards. Sloane's jab looks to have found its range, popping Danis under the eye. Danis has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sloane. Sloane moves out of range of the body kick. Sloane instigates a clinch. Sloane slows down the pace here.
Sloane just leaning against Danis, taking a breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sloane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sloane blocks an elbow strike from Danis.
Sloane is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sloane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sloane.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sabre Sloane. Danis takes a jab right on the kisser.
Danis tries to move into range but Sloane moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Danis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sloane. Sabre Sloane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Danis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sloane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Danis dives in and grabs Sloane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sloane pushes down on Danis's head and hops out. Sloane wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Sloane lands the left hand. Sloane jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Danis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sloane.
Danis is rocked! Sloane circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Danis tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Sloane wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sabre Sloane! Sabre Sloane retains his middleweight title! Our winner, Sabre Sloane, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
