Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Torres Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Higgedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miguel Torres Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pete Higgedy!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgedy takes the fight into the clinch.
Torres Jr slowing the pace effectively.
Torres Jr wants to break free but Higgedy has control.
Torres Jr can't break the clinch.
Torres Jr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Higgedy is trying to maintain a safe position but Torres Jr gets an underhook and turns Higgedy into the cage.
Higgedy pulls guard successfully.
Higgedy looking for a guillotine here but Torres Jr defends easily.
Torres Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Higgedy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Higgedy throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torres Jr passes Higgedy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Torres Jr is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Higgedy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Higgedy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Higgedy breaks from Torres Jr's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Higgedy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Torres Jr wants to hold on but Higgedy pushes him away.

Higgedy landing strikes from the mount and Torres Jr is in trouble!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Higgedy tries to control but Torres Jr wriggling away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Torres Jr is squirming around, avoiding Higgedy's attempts to control the action.

Torres Jr is bucking up trying to escape but Higgedy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Torres Jr takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Higgedy! Torres Jr is hurt baaadly! Higgedy is firing away with more strikes - Torres Jr is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
