Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Greenwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladimir Nikolov!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenwood falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nikolov counters with a two punch combo.
Greenwood throws a head kick that misses
and Nikolov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Greenwood has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nikolov finds it's way round the side to connect with Greenwood's head.
Greenwood is rocked!
Greenwood rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nikolov scores with a counter punch that sends Greenwood to the canvas! Nikolov smells blood - he's punishing Greenwood with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Greenwood has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vladimir Nikolov!
