The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaga gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Lopikui counters by moving into the clinch.
Gaga's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Gaga on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Gaga jumps into guard, dragging Lopikui to the mat.
Lopikui seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Gaga is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopikui wants to pass the guard but Gaga is keeping the position.
Lopikui lands a couple of elbows.

Gaga utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lopikui sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Gaga doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Lopikui paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gaga - great work!
