And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deandre Miller!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miller wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Omarov. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
Omarov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Omarov's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Omarov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Omarov's head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Omarov throws a strike from the bottom but Miller uses the opportunity to take his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Omarov tries to escape but Miller has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Miller has managed to slip his arm under Omarov's chin. This could be all over... yep, Omarov is tapping out! Submission win for Miller.
