Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamont King (ranked 1409 p4p, 155 weight class) and Yusuke Urameshi (ranked 745 p4p, 82 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by King For A Day - Green Day . Urameshi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Smile Bomb. Lamont King could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yusuke Urameshi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lamont King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yusuke Urameshi!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urameshi digs a good body shot into King's ribs.
King looks to land a combination but Urameshi avoids it well.
Urameshi scores with a decent looking hook.
Urameshi slips a straight right by King.
Urameshi scores with a crisp jab that stopped King in his tracks.
Urameshi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
King slips under a jab.

King goes for a double leg but Urameshi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Urameshi continues to drive forward.

King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether King might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lamont King will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Yusuke Urameshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Urameshi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Yusuke Urameshi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Lamont King was interviewed post fight and said 'Back to Harlem for some adjustments! Props to my opponent!'.
