Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Loyd Simmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Laimonas Zemaitis!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zemaitis fails to land with a series of punches.
Simmons defending well as Zemaitis loads up on a big left hand.
Zemaitis swings for the body but Simmons moves out of range.
Laimonas Zemaitis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simmons takes the fight into the clinch.
Simmons breaks from the clinch.
Zemaitis misses with a double jab.
Sloppy strikes from Zemaitis. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zemaitis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Simmons.
Zemaitis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Simmons gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Zemaitis misses the shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Simmons.
The fight stays on the outside here - Simmons looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Zemaitis keeps the fight on the outside.
Simmons tries to clinch but Zemaitis is having none of it.
Zemaitis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simmons moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Some wild striking there from Zemaitis.
Simmons looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
A left and a right from Zemaitis both land. Nice combination.
Simmons slips a jab and a cross from Zemaitis.
Zemaitis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Simmons controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zemaitis is working an open guard so Simmons takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Zemaitis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Simmons makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Simmons closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zemaitis circles away.
Zemaitis lands a left and a right that send Simmons crashing to the mat, dazed. Zemaitis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Simmons is rocked!
Simmons moves out of range of the body kick.
Oh Simmons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zemaitis cracks Simmons with a hook to the temple - Simmons is on wobbly legs here! Zemaitis swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Simmons falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Zemaitis wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Laimonas Zemaitis!
