Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evgeni Kozlov (ranked 1749 p4p, 198 weight class) and Island Fighter (ranked 1373 p4p, 168 weight class). The key to victory for Evgeni Kozlov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Evgeni Kozlov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Fighter! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter misses with a looping left. Kozlov lands a jab. Fighter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kozlov finds it's way round the side to connect with Fighter's head. Kozlov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fighter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kozlov connects with the punch. Kozlov throws a hook to the side of Fighter's head but Fighter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kozlov misses with an uppercut. Fighter is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Kozlov misses with a straight right. Kozlov scores with a hook.
Fighter is rocked! Fighter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kozlov on the side of the head. Fighter thows a left - swing and a miss! Fighter's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fighter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fighter slips a jab from Kozlov. Kozlov throws a hook but Fighter avoids it easily. Evgeni Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kozlov pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A little jabbing left from Fighter on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozlov misses with a left hand enabling Fighter to counter with a crisp jab. Kozlov moves into the clinch successfully.
Kozlov misses with the head strike.
Fighter lands with a left to the head. Fighter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fighter blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fighter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kozlov backwards.
Kozlov is rocked! Fighter blocks an uppercut.
Oh Kozlov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fighter misses with a punch on the inside.
Kozlov seems to have got his legs back now. Fighter working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kozlov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fighters head. Fighter lands a shoulder strike. Fighter throws a big uppercut that drops Kozlov! More strikes from Fighter and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kozlov lies dazed against the cage as Fighter celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Island Fighter!
