Philips's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go Into The Water. Andrei Arloski has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ray Philips's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Arloski lands but Philips takes it in his stride.
Philips swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Arloski darts in and clinches Philips up against the cage.
Arloski changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Philips fights it off and pushes away nicely.

It looks like Andrei Arloski has been cut.
Arloski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Philips swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Philips lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arloski circles away quickly and effectively.
Arloski shoots in looking for a takedown. Philips tries to sprawl out of it but Arloski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Philips manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Arloski closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Philips to the mat! Philips manages to get full guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Arloski.

Philips rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Arloski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Arloski tries for a takedown but Philips sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Arloski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Philips pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Arloski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Philips - the referee stops the clock and Arloski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Philips. Arloski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Philips lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Arloski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Arloski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
