Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nova Zigaman (ranked 1322 p4p, 161 weight class) and Machiavelli Vecellio (ranked 1714 p4p, 204 weight class). Zigaman comes to the cage accompanied by Rage of Reason - Blood Gods. On his way into the cage it seems that Nova Zigaman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nova Zigaman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nova Zigaman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Machiavelli Vecellio! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Vecellio there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vecellio rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zigaman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Zigaman lands a nice hook to Vecellio's body. Vecellio takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Zigaman lunges at Vecellio with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vecellio's hand. Vecellio throws a shot to the body.
Vecellio looks to throw the jab but Zigaman is out of range. Vecellio drops his shoulder and cracks Zigaman with a huge uppercut! Zigaman goes down! Can Vecellio finish him?
It looks like Nova Zigaman has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zigaman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Vecellio has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zigaman is proving hard to escape from. Zigaman trying to keep a closed guard but Vecellio is proving a slippery customer.
Zigaman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zigaman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vecellio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Zigaman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Zigaman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vecellio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vecellio throws a head kick but Zigaman moves out of range.

Zigaman being controlled against the cage. Zigaman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Zigaman jumps guard but Vecellio stands there with Zigaman around his waist. Zigaman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Zigaman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vecellio just stands there and leans against the cage. Vecellio lands with a short head shot on the inside. Vecellio is trying to maintain a safe position but Zigaman gets an underhook and turns Vecellio into the cage. Vecellio is struggling to control the position. Vecellio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zigaman throws a nice looking combination but Vecellio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Zigaman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Vecellio is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Zigaman has just dragged him back down to the mat. Zigaman is looking to take a break and control but Vecellio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zigaman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Vecellio wants to get back to his feet but Zigaman drags him back down. Zigaman is trying to get an arm triangle but Vecellio is defending well. Vecellio prevents Zigaman from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vecellio is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Zigaman has just dragged him back down to the mat. Vecellio bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Vecellio displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zigaman throws out the jab. Zigaman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nova Zigaman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vecellio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vecellio scores with a nice right hand.
Zigaman lands with an uppercut that bounces Vecellio off the cage and back into range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Machiavelli Vecellio dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nova Zigaman's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Zigaman swats away the attempt to clinch by Vecellio. Vecellio takes one on the button. Vecellio throws a hook to the side of Zigaman's head but Zigaman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Zigaman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vecellio.

Nova Zigaman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vecellio's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zigaman under the eye. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vecellio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zigaman.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zigaman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vecellio. Zigaman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vecellio quickly recovers to half guard. Vecellio manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Zigaman keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Vecellio takes a shot to the head. Zigaman drags the fight down to the ground.
Zigaman is looking for a triangle here but Vecellio uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Vecellio stands up and we're back to a striking position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vecellio tries to score with a low kick but Zigaman moves his leg out of the way. Zigaman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Zigaman scores with a takedown into Vecellio's guard. Zigaman slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zigaman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Vecellio pushes Zigaman off looking to stand but Zigaman dives back in and keeps control.
Vecellio is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Zigaman is stalling here. Vecellio is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Zigaman seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Vecellio has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Zigaman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Vecellio decides to stand up, so the ref orders Zigaman to his feet. Vecellio has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Zigaman has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. A short left from Zigaman. Zigaman fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Machiavelli Vecellio seems to be getting the better of the standup. Vecellio scores with a punch to the head. Vecellio has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zigaman scores with a jab to the body. Vecellio takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Zigaman is rocked! Vecellio is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Oh Zigaman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vecellio connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Zigaman avoids the head kick by Vecellio.
Vecellio fakes the body blow, causing Zigaman to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Zigaman goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Machiavelli Vecellio! After winning the bout, Machiavelli Vecellio thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. In defeat, Nova Zigaman stepped up to the mic, saying 'You may have won the battle tonight but you haven't won the war. Tonight you were lucky... it will never happen again. The referee was all over you tonight... what did you do? Get on your hands and knees before the fight? 9/10 I will destroy you.'.
