Charles trying to control but Coutinho is working from the bottom. Charles controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Charles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coutinho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Coutinho has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Charles is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Coutinho. That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Coutinho is working hard here to advance position. Charles tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Charles content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Coutinho can't do much from the bottom here.
