Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Williams (ranked 858 p4p, 112 weight class) and Conor OMalley (ranked 2236 p4p, 282 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrell Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OMalley! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OMalley dives in for a single leg takedown but Williams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tyrell Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. OMalley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Williams is refusing to be controlled, as OMalley sits in half guard. OMalley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. OMalley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Williams defends it well. OMalley wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OMalley moves into full mount! Williams won't be happy about that! OMalley wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. OMalley controlling from the full mount. Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for OMalley on the ground. OMalley looking to control but Williams is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. OMalley goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Williams turns into him and now he's in OMalley's guard.
Williams is fighting to break OMalley's control of his arms but OMalley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Williams avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OMalley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. OMalley wants to stand but Williams is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OMalley looking for a guillotine here but Williams defends easily.
OMalley is pulling down on Williams's head to control his posture. OMalley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. OMalley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. OMalley keeping full guard, as Williams tries to pass. OMalley throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
OMalley pulls Williams in close to his closed guard and prevents Williams from doing any damage or advancing position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! OMalley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Williams throws a leg kick that is checked and OMalley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. OMalley is trying to control the action in half guard but Williams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Conor OMalley has got the better of the ground game so far. OMalley seems to be working for a kimura but Williams defends the submission attempt. OMalley is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. OMalley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time OMalley. OMalley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Williams has managed to free his arm - good work. OMalley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. OMalley is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! OMalley is working for a guillotine from mount but Williams frees his head quite easily.
OMalley trying to control but he's not successful this time. OMalley jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Williams is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Williams and OMalley has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
OMalley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OMalley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well. OMalley looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. OMalley working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. OMalley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Williams to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Williams leaves OMalley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. OMalley tries for a takedown but Williams circles away easily and OMalley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Conor OMalley has been cut. Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from OMalley. Tyrell Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor OMalley. OMalley looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Williams, right into the meat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Williams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. OMalley on the wrong end of a nice hook.
OMalley is rocked! OMalley shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed OMalley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Conor OMalley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Conor OMalley's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Williams sizes up OMalley with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Williams throws a combination that misses and OMalley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by OMalley. OMalley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard. OMalley wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OMalley showing good wrestling skills to control the position. OMalley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and OMalley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. OMalley is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Williams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Williams has escaped and now he's on top! OMalley will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as OMalley holds on and takes a little breather. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but OMalley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tyrell Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Williams with a flurry of punches that miss. OMalley is looking for a triangle but Williams pushes his legs off easily.
OMalley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. OMalley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. OMalley looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. OMalley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. OMalley working for a triangle but Williams defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing OMalley to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Williams is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - OMalley pulls down on the head and he's put Williams to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Conor OMalley! In his post fight interview, Conor OMalley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
