Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Yamamura (ranked 5038 p4p, 520 weight class) and Reginald Hsu (ranked 4965 p4p, 516 weight class). Reginald Hsu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenji Yamamura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Reginald Hsu! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamamura connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Yamamura misses with a body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hsu has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Yamamura just misses with a punch to the body.
Hsu fails to land the takedown. Yamamura thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hsu if he has to take too many more of those.
A solid body kick from Yamamura. Hsu throws a body shot but no joy. Yamamura dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hsu. That did some damage! Hsu scores with a body shot.
An inside leg kick lands from Yamamura. Hsu avoids the head kick by Yamamura.
Yamamura throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yamamura. A thudding body kick lands there by Yamamura!
Hsu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yamamura tries to clinch but Hsu moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamamura is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Yamamura chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hsu throws a body shot but no joy. Yamamura could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A nice leg kick lands there from Yamamura. Yamamura moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hsu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yamamura tries to buck Hsu off but Hsu is having none of it. Hsu throws an elbow but Yamamura slips to the side and avoids it well. Hsu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Yamamura's shoulder. That is not cool. Hsu scores with a couple of short elbows. Hsu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yamamura looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hsu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yamamura is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hsu lets go of the hold and Yamamura can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Reginald Hsu!
