Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bass Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Taylor shoots for a takedown but Rutten saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bass Rutten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Taylor.
Rutten fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Taylor, pushing him back against the cage.

Rutten breaks the clinch.
Rutten throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Taylor on the side of the head.
Rutten clinches up with Taylor and pushes him back against the cage.
Rutten pushes off an throws an elbow but Taylor leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Rutten is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rutten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rutten drops Taylor with a beautiful combination! Taylor stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rutten is looking for the KO!
Rutten shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Taylor takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Rutten sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Taylor bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
