Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Matt Hunt (ranked 6666 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam McCullen (ranked 189 p4p, 28 weight class). McCullen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Foggy Dew kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Matt Hunt! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Sam McCullen! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Hunt drives through and clinches with McCullen against the cage.
Hunt manages to pull guard.
McCullen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Let's hope that McCullen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hunt pulls McCullen in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCullen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunt is keeping the position for now. McCullen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

McCullen performing his best blanket impression for a moment. McCullen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. McCullen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. McCullen trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hunt doesn't escape. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. It looks like McCullen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's twelve minutes gone in the round. McCullen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hunt. McCullen has the hooks in. Hunt is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from McCullen.

What can Hunt do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yet more stalling tactics from McCullen.
