The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Smit has managed to clinch.

Wahrr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smit is just riding it out for now. Wahrr eventually gives up the hold.
Wahrr has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Wahrr is looking to work his way around to Smit's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Smit tries to lock up and control but Wahrr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Wahrr working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Smit is squirming around, avoiding Wahrr's attempts to control the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smit slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smit is not content to let Wahrr control the position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smit manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wahrr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smit swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wahrr trying to control the position from guard on top but Smit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Smit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wahrr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Smit is tightening it up a little... Wahrr has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Wahrr reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Wahrr taps out! Nice BJJ there by Smit!
