The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Sol shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in KillsInWater's guard.

Sol wants to pass the guard but KillsInWater is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sol controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sol might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sol seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down KillsInWater for as long as he can get away with.

Sol's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

KillsInWater tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sol wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

KillsInWater felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Sol is stinking the place up with his stalling.
