Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sanryu Aguilio (ranked 4799 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Olmo (ranked 4810 p4p, 450 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Aguilio drives through and clinches with Olmo against the cage.
Olmo tries to score a body lock takedown but Aguilio shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Aguilio is trying to drag Olmo to the mat but Olmo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Aguilio has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Olmo is trying to keep an underhook but Aguilio manages to get the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Aguilio (2) vs (0) Olmo Aguilio perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Aguilio has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Olmo is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aguilio seems to be looking for submissions.
