We've been hearing reports that Gustafsson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ryan throws a head kick but Gustafsson moves out of range.

and Ryan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gustafsson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ryan throws out the jab.
Gustafsson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ryan manages to circle out of the way.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ryan. Gustafsson does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ryan connects with a superb combination that knocks Gustafsson out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Ryan before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gustafsson!
