PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Can Crusher (ranked 5222 p4p, 215 weight class) and Shane Myres (ranked 5310 p4p, 217 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Can Crusher has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Can Crusher seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Myres!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crusher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Myres stuffs the takedown attempt from Crusher. Crusher gets slowly back to his feet.
Crusher shoots for a takedown but Myres saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Crusher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Myres sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crusher somewhat.
Myres tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Can Crusher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some bone on bone action there as Myres checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
