Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tony Duff (ranked 3555 p4p, 413 weight class) and Deez Nuts (ranked 1638 p4p, 222 weight class). Nuts has chosen Come Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tony Duff! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Deez Nuts! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Nuts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Duff. Duff bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Duff (4) vs (0) Nuts Nuts wants to control but Duff postures up. Duff wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nuts, who protects the arm well. Nuts holds on to Duff's head and controls the position momentarily. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Nuts is looking to reverse the position. Nuts can't do much from the bottom here. Nuts manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nuts has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Duff. Oh but Nuts has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Duff goes limp - he's gone! Nuts jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
