Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pavlik Dacik (ranked 6953 p4p, 460 weight class) and John Thunder (ranked 6201 p4p, 429 weight class). Thunder has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavlik Dacik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Thunder ! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Pavlik Dacik has been cut. Thunder cracks a nice hook into Dacik's ribs. Dacik scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Thunder pushes Dacik off but Dacik dives into side control.
Thunder is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Thunder can't do much from the bottom here. Thunder is positioning himself to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Thunder 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dacik in side control, throwing shots but Thunder defends. Thunder wants to get back to his feet. Thunder is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thunder gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dacik tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Dacik is trying to work for a kimura but Thunder is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dacik thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dacik prevents Thunder from improving his position. Thunder is staying active underneath Dacik, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dacik looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dacik is looking to take a break and control but Thunder is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Thunder throws a lazy head kick and Dacik counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Thunder is looking to stand up but Dacik isn't so interested in that idea. Thunder working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder wants to sweep but no luck. Dacik trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dacik is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Thunder wants to improve his position but instead Dacik has moved into half guard.
Thunder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dacik is working away from the top position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Thunder is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pavlik Dacik will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Pavlik Dacik's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Dacik shoots and misses enabling Thunder to counter with a crisp jab. Thunder scores with a jab to the jaw. Dacik doesn't succeed with the takedown and Thunder counters with a big right hand! Oh Dacik is in trouble here! Thunder follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
