The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldonado stuns Osman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Osman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Maldonado counter with a right hand.
It looks like Wee Lee Osman has been cut.
Maldonado drops Osman with a beautiful combination! Osman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maldonado is looking for the KO!
Osman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maldonado scores with the left hand. Osman knows he should have avoided that one.
Osman is rocked!
Maldonado feints a jab and as Osman dips his head, Maldonado unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Osman right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Osman falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Maldonado smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ralphie Maldonado!
In his post fight interview, Ralphie Maldonado started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
