Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Hung Dong (ranked 1014 p4p, 135 weight class) and Julio Regueiro (ranked 340 p4p, 49 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Dong shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Regueiro eats them both and turns towards Dong to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That has opened up Julio Regueiro's cut even more.
Julio Regueiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

My spies in Big Bear Fight Factory inform me that Regueiro has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Regueiro drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Regueiro seems to have locked his on tight now - Dong screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Regueiro, as he picks up the win!
