Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Klay Dee (ranked 1806 p4p, 197 weight class) and Tzu Chu (ranked 1646 p4p, 179 weight class). Dee's entrance music is Tyler, The Creator - Who Dat Boy. A fine choice. Klay Dee has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Klay Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tzu Chu!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee swats away the attempt to clinch by Chu.
Chu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Chu clinches up against the cage.
Dee dodges an elbow strike from Chu.
A short right from Dee.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chu.
Chu doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dee.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dee creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dee.
Dee scores with a shoulder strike.
Chu misses with a punch on the inside.
Chu digs a right hand underneath Dee's ribcage. Dee let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Chu makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dee throws a head punch that misses.
Dee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chu backwards.
Chu tries to score a body lock takedown but Dee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dee is trying to force a seperation but Chu has the dominant position.
Chu gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Dee pushes Chu back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chu works on Dee's body with a couple of short punches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chu.

Dee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dee tries to work over Chu's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Chu blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Chu has Dee up against the cage in a clinch.
Chu misses with an elbow over the top.
Dee can't find room to land a body shot as Chu controls the action.

Dee takes an elbow to the temple.
Chu told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Chu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dee backwards.
Dee lands with a light punch inside.
Dee lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Chu or not.
Dee tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dee blocks an uppercut.

Dee breaks from the clinch.
A lazy left from Chu finds it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dee misses the shot to the body.

Chu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Chu tries to close the distance and clinch but Dee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Chu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dee can pounce on him.

Chu fails to land with a series of punches.
Dee lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Dee tries to score with a low kick but Chu moves his leg out of the way.
Chu throws a hook to the side of Dee's head but Dee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dee appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Dee misses with a hook. Chu ducked under it nicely.

Chu throws a nice looking combination but Dee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Chu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Klay Dee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dee throws a shot from downtown. Chu moves away and avoids it.

Chu takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dee loads up on a big right hand but Chu slips the punch.
Chu tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dee throws a sloppy head kick and Chu moves out of range easily.
Chu on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dee. Dee obviously looking to wear him down.
Chu wants to clinch.
Chu takes one to the chin there.
Dee swats away the attempt to clinch by Chu.
It looked like Dee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chu defending well as Dee loads up on a big left hand.
Chu with the counter takedown but Dee avoids it easily.
Chu looks to land a left hand but Dee moved out of range nicely.
Chu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dee.

Dee is looking to chop away at Chu's legs.

Dee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chu can do to turn this around?

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The crowd cheers as Dee lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chu doesn't seem phased though.
Chu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chu.

Chu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dee connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dee.

Chu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dee throws out the jab.

Chu has picked Dee up - he's going for a ride! Chu dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Dee is looking to control Chu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dee avoid being mounted?

Chu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Chu wants to control from the top but Dee keeps moving.
Chu distracts Dee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

As Chu backs away, Dee returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Dee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Good leg kick by Dee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dee swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dee tests Chu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Tzu Chu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
