Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Okusaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski tries for a takedown but Okusaka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Okusaka moves into range and clinches up with Pudzianowski.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Pudzianowski trying to control the position but instead, Okusaka has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pudzianowski into the cage.

and Pudzianowski counters with a single leg into guard. Okusaka didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Okusaka is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pudzianowski drops back looking for a leg! Okusaka is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Okusaka manages to kick Pudzianowski off! Pudzianowski jumps back into Okusaka's guard.
Okusaka is controlling Pudzianowski's posture.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pudzianowski pushes Okusaka up against the cage in a clinch.
Pudzianowski wants a takedown but no success here.
Pudzianowski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Okusaka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Okusaka is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pudzianowski is keeping busy.
Pudzianowski manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Pudzianowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pudzianowski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Okusaka is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pudzianowski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Okusaka's back instead.
Okusaka tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Okusaka is squirming around, avoiding Pudzianowski's attempts to control the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Okusaka tries to lock up and control but Pudzianowski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Okusaka is looking to get to half guard.
Pudzianowski lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Okusaka hang on?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pudzianowski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Okusaka is looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pudzianowski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Okusaka will probably get the nod.

and Okusaka counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Pudzianowski has control of Okusaka's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Okusaka regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pudzianowski is trying to control the action in half guard but Okusaka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
