The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Belt Two. That did some damage!
Belt Two rushes Gallo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gallo tries to throw a body punch but Belt Two avoids it by throwing Gallo back against the cage.
Gallo pushes Belt Two back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Gallo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Belt Two. Belt Two circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Gallo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Juan Gallo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gallo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Belt Two at a distance.
Belt Two tries to move into range but Gallo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Belt Two doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gallo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A punch lands to the side of Belt Two 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gallo cracks Belt Two with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gallo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Belt Two to stand back up!
Belt Two is rocked!
Gallo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Belt Two has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Belt Two is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Belt Two has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Belt Two there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jeez, Black Belt Two's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Belt Two gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gallo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Black Belt Two's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Juan Gallo!
An out of breath Juan Gallo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
