Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cobweb Cooter (ranked 842 p4p, 100 weight class) and Bobo Nielsen (ranked 527 p4p, 67 weight class). Cooter comes to the cage accompanied by Porch Honky. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cobweb Cooter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobo Nielsen!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooter misses the shot to the body.
It seemed like Nielsen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cooter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Malmi Aitta in the buildup to the fight.
Nielsen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cooter manages to avoid it.
Nielsen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cooter's half guard.
Nielsen wants to pass the guard but Cooter is defending well.
Cooter misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Cooter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nielsen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nielsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Nielsen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cooter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Cobweb Cooter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nielsen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cooter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cooter throws a body shot but no joy.
Nielsen throws the left hand but Cooter avoids the punch easily.

Cooter lands with an overhand left.
Nielsen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cooter throws a lazy right hand but Nielsen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cooter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nielsen cracks Cooter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cooter throws a right hand that Nielsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Nielsen also avoids with ease.
Cooter throws a combination. Nielsen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Nielsen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cooter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cooter throws a head kick but Nielsen moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cobweb Cooter will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cooter throws a leg kick which misses Nielsen's front leg but catches the back leg as Nielsen tries to avoid it.
Cobweb Cooter is winning the standup battle so far.
Nielsen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cooter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A punch lands to the side of Nielsen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cooter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nielsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Cooter.
Nielsen walks into a left hand.
Cooter throws a shot from downtown. Nielsen moves away and avoids it.
Cooter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nielsen can do to turn this around?
Cooter lunges at Nielsen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nielsen's hand.
Cooter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nielsen throws a hook but Cooter blocks it.
Cooter throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nielsen cracks Cooter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Cooter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Nielsen counters with a right hand to the body.

Cooter is looking to work some ground and pound but Nielsen has wrist control.

Cooter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Nielsen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nielsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cooter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cooter ducks under a wild hook from Nielsen.
Nielsen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cooter swings for the body but Nielsen moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cooter looking to score a takedown here. Nielsen is defending well but Cooter drives through and ends up in Nielsen's guard.
Cooter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nielsen is on top in guard.
Nielsen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Nielsen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Nielsen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Nielsen is posturing up here but Cooter has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Nielsen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Nielsen has to tap! Slick submission there by Cooter!

Bobo Nielsen spoke after the fight, saying 'fucking auto flight got me!'.
