Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vain Dain (ranked 2977 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Archer (ranked 2335 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Archer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer lands a nice looking body shot.

Archer rushes Dain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dain fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Archer lands a shot to the body.

Archer breaks the clinch.
Archer throws a hook to the side of Dain's head but Dain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dain tries for a takedown but Archer circles away easily
and Archer counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vain Dain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dain has his takedown stuffed
and Archer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Archer throws a looping overhand right but Dain ducks down to avoid it.
Dain shoots and misses
and Archer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dain is breathing heavily.
Archer lands a slapping body shot.
Archer moves into range and connects with a jab.

Archer sends Dain crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Archer is motioning to the referee to let Dain up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Dain is rocked!

It looks like Vain Dain has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dain looks up at the clock. Bad move! Archer lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dain. Archer pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
