Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charlie Austin!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping moves out of range of the strikes.
Bisping drops down looking for a counter takedown but Austin sprawls and moves away.
Austin throws a body shot but no joy.
Austin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bisping.
Austin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bisping feinted with a counter takedown.
Austin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bisping doesn't seem bothered though.
Austin tries to clinch there but Bisping circles away.
Bisping appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Austin clinches.

Austin breaks the clinch.
Bisping shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Austin moves into range and clinches up with Bisping.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bisping is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Austin is defending well.

Austin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Austin instigates a clinch.
Austin lands with a short shot to the head.
Austin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bisping tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Austin just stands there and leans against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Austin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Austin takes the fight into the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Bisping. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bisping wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Austin has him pressed against the cage.
Bisping takes a shot to the head.

Austin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Austin clinches with his opponent.
A nice right hand lands inside from Austin.

Austin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Austin closes the distance and pushes Bisping back into the cage.
Bisping tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Austin just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bisping takes a shot to the head.
Austin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Austin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bisping backwards.


Bisping is rocked!

Austin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oh Bisping is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bisping tries to keep at a distance but Austin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bisping seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bisping throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Austin blocks it with crossed arms.
Bisping is breathing heavily.
Austin lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bisping jumps guard but Austin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Austin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bisping backwards.

Austin breaks the clinch.
Austin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bisping was well out of range. Poor timing from Austin.
Bisping attempts a counter takedown but Austin avoids it well and moves away.
Austin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Austin lands a big right hand that sends Bisping crashing to the mat! Austin stays standing though and waves Bisping back to his feet!

Austin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bisping, pushing him back against the cage.
Bisping is trying to force a seperation but Austin has the dominant position.

Austin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bisping moves out of range as Austin strikes.

Austin pushes Bisping up against the cage in a clinch.

Austin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Austin cracks Bisping with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bisping tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Austin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bisping is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Austin!
Charlie Austin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
