Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lazaro Shaw (ranked 6385 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lockwood (ranked 2899 p4p, 363 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lazaro Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Lockwood! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lockwood pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lockwood throws a jab but it's blocked by Shaw. Lockwood misses with a wild combination.
Shaw is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Lockwood. Lockwood swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shaw.
It looks like Lazaro Shaw has been cut. Lockwood throws a right and a left that both miss. Shaw swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Lockwood misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lockwood fails to land with a series of punches.
A big right from Lockwood misses. Sloppy strikes from Lockwood. Those never looked like landing. Shaw closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lockwood quickly recovers to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw is taking a breather. Lockwood says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lockwood is trying to maintain the position but Shaw is very close to passing his half guard. Lockwood wants to get back to full guard but Shaw has passed into side control. Shaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lockwood keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shaw tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Shaw is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lockwood's shoulder. That is not cool. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lockwood wants to control but Shaw postures up. Lockwood is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Shaw is looking to take a break and control but Lockwood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lockwood struggling a bit here. Shaw working the head and body with strikes. Lockwood is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Shaw lands a nice forearm strike. Lockwood is looking for a sweep. Shaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lockwood on the wrong end of some ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Lockwood's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shaw staying calm. Lockwood wants to control but Shaw postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shaw decides to stand back up. Shaw steps back and let's Lockwood get back to his feet. A shot to the liver by Lockwood. Beautiful body shot. Lockwood misses with a double jab
and Shaw counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lockwood digs a good hook to Shaw's body.
Shaw bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lockwood misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shaw throwing a counter right hand but Lockwood manages to avoid it. Shaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lockwood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shaw somewhat. Lockwood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lazaro Shaw will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lazaro Shaw's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lockwood drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shaw explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Shaw dodges the punch combination from Lockwood.
Lockwood shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Shaw has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Lockwood is on him like a limpet, forcing Shaw back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stalling in the clinch from Shaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Shaw.
Shaw taking a breather. Shaw is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lockwood is keeping busy. Shaw leaning against his opponent.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Lazaro Shaw. Lockwood wobbles Shaw with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Lockwood dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Shaw to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
