The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babinski connects with a body shot.
Babinski slips under a jab.
Babinski appears to be looking for a big counter.
Stepanov lands with a shot to the body.
Stepanov misses with a series of wild punches.
Babinski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stepanov cracks a nice hook into Babinski's ribs.
Babinski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stepanov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Babinski moves away.
A quick step to the side and Babinski tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stepanov moves out of range as Babinski strikes.
Babinski cracks Stepanov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Babinski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stepanov to stand back up!
Stepanov is rocked!
It looks like Konstantin Stepanov has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Babinski ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Stepanov out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alexei Babinski!
After the fight, Alexei Babinski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
