Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Salazar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Antistar (by Massive Attack). Jayden Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Salazar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jayden Lee! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salazar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Salazar drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Salazar off! Salazar jumps back into Lee's guard. Salazar advances to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee is looking to control Salazar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Salazar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Salazar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lee can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lee defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Salazar. Lee wants to hold on but Salazar pushes him away. Lee is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Salazar is staying active. Lee working to try and regain half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Salazar is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lee can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lee wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to hold on but Salazar pushes him away. Salazar working for a guillotine from mount but Lee is in no mood to give up. That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salazar pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lee is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee holds on to Salazar around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Salazar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Salazar working for a submission but Lee is keeping him at bay. Lee tries to hold on but Salazar postures up. Salazar is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lee is surviving well by controlling Salazar's body position as best he can. Lee tries to lock up and control but Salazar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazar working for a guillotine from mount but Lee is in no mood to give up. Salazar is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lee has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Salazar prevents Lee from getting the reversal. Lee tries to hold on but Salazar postures up. Salazar with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salazar looking for the choke from the back. Lee is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Salazar off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Lee is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Lee throws a head kick that misses. Salazar moves away from the strike by Lee. Lee throws a series of punches but Salazar avoids them all with ease. Salazar swinging wilding here.

Salazar's corner calls for a 1-2. Salazar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Salazar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Salazar persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing. Salazar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard. Lee looks gassed! Salazar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lee trying to control the position.
Salazar forces his way into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Salazar dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Salazar slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Salazar throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Salazar moves out of range of the strikes. Salazar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lee takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Salazar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Salazar shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Salazar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lee throws the left hand but Salazar avoids the punch easily. A jab from Salazar does it's job there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salazar.
Salazar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Salazar working away. Lee is breathing heavily. Salazar tries to advance to mount but Lee denies him. Salazar is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salazar wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee wants to get back to his feet but Salazar drags him back down. Lee is looking for a sweep. Salazar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there. Salazar goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Salazar's guard! Nice work there by Lee! Lee stopping the sweep attempt from Salazar. Lee wants to control from the top but Salazar keeps moving. Salazar looking for a sweep. Not yet Salazar, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Salazar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salazar doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Salazar has his foot on Lee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though. Salazar throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Salazar looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lee is defending well. Salazar quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lee has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Salazar celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
