Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Michael Brakeley (ranked 655 p4p, 92 weight class) and Maki Pulu (ranked 661 p4p, 93 weight class). Pulu has chosen Alive as his entrance music. Maki Pulu acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Pulu gets a clinch. Pulu has Brakeley pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pulu pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Brakeley tumbling to the mat - Pulu dives into Brakeley's guard. Pulu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brakeley haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Pulu has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Pulu manages to work his way to half guard, despite Brakeley's best efforts. Brakeley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pulu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brakeley. Pulu regains full guard. Nicely done.

Brakeley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brakeley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pulu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brakeley controls the pace.
