Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between David Morrison Jr. (ranked 1768 p4p, 103 weight class) and Morrison Lee (ranked 604 p4p, 77 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morrison Jr. might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Face The Pain. Lee has chosen The Pretender as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 18 wins and 6 losses; David Morrison Jr.! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Morrison Lee!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Morrison Jr. changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Morrison Jr. (4) vs (0) Lee
Lee tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
