Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Lalo Jimenez (ranked 6984 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 2289 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Zulu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Jimenez (0) vs (4) Zulu The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jimenez tries to buck Zulu off but Zulu is having none of it. Zulu working away. Zulu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jimenez, who protects the arm well. Zulu working away. Jimenez is trying to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Jimenez's face as Zulu controls the position. Jimenez is trying to get back to half guard. Jimenez struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zulu tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Zulu trying to control the action but Jimenez is working from the bottom. Jimenez is looking to reverse the position. Zulu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zulu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jimenez is looking to reverse the position. Jimenez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zulu controls the position. Jimenez sneaks back into half guard. Jimenez looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jimenez wants to improve his position but Zulu is controlling well.
Zulu is trying to control. Jimenez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jimenez is pressing down on Zulu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jimenez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Zulu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Zulu wants to control from the top but Jimenez keeps moving. Zulu passes easily into side control. Nice work. You can't force these things though and Zulu defends well. Jimenez keeping moving, preventing Zulu from controlling successfully. Zulu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jimenez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zulu trying to control but Jimenez is working from the bottom.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Jimenez can't keep his opponent in guard - Zulu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jimenez wants to get back to full guard. Zulu is working for a submission of some sort.
Jimenez is trying to control Zulu's posture. Zulu takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Jimenez! Zulu is rotating here... this could be the end... Jimenez is out! Zulu has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
