The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker tries to bum rush Shelby with a series of wild strikes but Shelby uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
It looked like Shelby was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Shelby looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Baker misses with a right hand
and Shelby counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Baker lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Baker counters with a left and a right that stings Shelby .

Baker wants to clinch up but Shelby keeps it at a distance.
Shelby clobbers Baker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Baker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Baker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shelby 's head backwards.
Baker tries to clinch up but Shelby circles away and keeps his distance.
Shelby stalks Baker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Baker's face. Baker staggers backwards, shaken.
Shelby avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shelby appears to be looking for a big counter.
Shelby lands a slapping body shot.
Shelby uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baker.
Baker moves in looking to clinch but Shelby pushes him off.

and Shelby counters with a series of strikes. Baker will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Baker counters with a head kick. That will keep Shelby thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Baker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Baker rushes Shelby and presses him up against the cage.

Baker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
