Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Tatko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Kirkovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is no Music. Kirkovich is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Crazy Autotune. The key to victory for Danny Tatko has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Tatko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vladimir Kirkovich! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tatko misses with a takedown attempt and Kirkovich counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tatko! Tatko is looking to improve his position but Kirkovich isn't that keen on the idea. Tatko is trying to escape the mount but Kirkovich keeps good control and instead manages to take Tatko's back.
Kirkovich wants to control but Tatko is keeping busy. Kirkovich is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Kirkovich is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Tatko defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Tatko is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kirkovich gets his way!

That's one minute gone in the round. Kirkovich is trying to stick to Tatko's back but Tatko is turning into Kirkovich. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kirkovich's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Tatko. Kirkovich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tatko trying to control but Kirkovich is working from the bottom. Tatko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kirkovich pushes Tatko off and gets back to his feet.
Tatko shoots in and bounces Kirkovich off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tatko stopping the sweep attempt from Kirkovich.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatko trying to control but Kirkovich is working from the bottom. Tatko with a flurry of punches that miss. Tatko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Tatko wants to control from the top but Kirkovich keeps moving. Kirkovich is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kirkovich looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Tatko passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kirkovich makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kirkovich. Tatko connects with a couple of short punches. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tatko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kirkovich checks a leg kick. Kirkovich shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tatko is trying to keep Kirkovich in close.

Tatko is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kirkovich feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tatko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kirkovich slips nicely into half guard. Tatko is trying to stand up here but Kirkovich is controlling him well. Kirkovich seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kirkovich stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Tatko to get to his feet. Kirkovich looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tatko working for a triangle but Kirkovich defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatko is working an open guard so Kirkovich takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tatko gets caught flat footed, as Kirkovich shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tatko keeping moving, preventing Kirkovich from controlling successfully. Kirkovich is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tatko working for a triangle but Kirkovich defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kirkovich trying to control but Tatko is working from the bottom. Tatko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kirkovich passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Kirkovich stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Tatko to get to his feet. Tatko has his takedown stuffed so Kirkovich counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatko looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kirkovich passes into half guard.
Kirkovich tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tatko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tatko looking for submissions off his back. Still in half guard, Kirkovich seems content to control. Kirkovich escapes and gets back to his feet. Tatko throws a sloppy head kick and Kirkovich counters with a takedown into side control. Tatko prevents Kirkovich from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tatko is looking for a sweep. Kirkovich has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tatko! Kirkovich tries to control but Tatko wriggling away. Tatko tries to hold on but Kirkovich pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kirkovich jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tatko manages to avoid the submission attempt. You can see the frustration on Tatko's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Kirkovich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Tatko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kirkovich to the mat! Kirkovich manages to get full guard. Kirkovich is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tatko is controlling him. Kirkovich looking to control.
Tatko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kirkovich's head. Tatko is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kirkovich has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tatko is looking to defend but Kirkovich has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tatko! Kirkovich pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tatko taps out and this one is all over!
