Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hatori Hanzo (ranked 3023 p4p, 341 weight class) and Conor MacGregar (ranked 2508 p4p, 288 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying MacGregar's choice of entrance music: Hell is my middle name. Hatori Hanzo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacGregar gets tackled into the cage by Hanzo. Hanzo maintains the clinch.

Good leg kick by Hanzo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hanzo. MacGregar does a little dance to reset his feet.

MacGregar shoots in looking for a takedown. Hanzo tries to sprawl out of it but MacGregar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hanzo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
MacGregar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hanzo looks to land a left hand but MacGregar moved out of range nicely.

MacGregar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hanzo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
