Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Denis Truenorth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Cowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Truenorth comes into the arena with Cordelia blaring out of the sound system. Jim Cowen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truenorth throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Truenorth misses with a head kick.

Cowen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cowen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Truenorth backs up against the cage.
Truenorth darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Truenorth is thwarting Cowen's attempts to control the position.

Truenorth throws a big right hand that misses.
Truenorth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Truenorth keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cowen's head.
Truenorth content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Truenorth is pushing down on Cowen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cowen is fighting to maintain full guard but Truenorth has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cowen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Truenorth is working away from the top position though.

Truenorth is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cowen sees it coming and defends easily.
Truenorth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Truenorth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cowen is just riding it out for now. Truenorth eventually gives up the hold.

Cowen has his feet on Truenorth's thighs here. He's pushed Truenorth off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Truenorth screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
