The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kankkunen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kankkunen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kankkunen swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Sloppy strikes from Kankkunen. Those never looked like landing.
Kankkunen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Osmo tries to counter by closing the distance.
Kankkunen tries to clinch there but Osmo circles away.
Kankkunen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Osmo dodges the punch combination from Kankkunen.
Osmo wants to counter with a clinch but Kankkunen pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osmo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kankkunen.
Kankkunen sets himself, and Osmo steps forward looking for the clinch! Kankkunen avoids it this time.
Kankkunen throws a combination that misses
and Osmo counters by moving into the clinch.
Osmo has Kankkunen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kankkunen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Osmo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kankkunen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Osmo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Osmo manages to end up in side control.
