The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Taylor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kong drives through with a takedown into guard.
Taylor is controlling Kong's posture.
Kong lands a couple of decent looking shots.
It looks like Rex Taylor has been cut.
Kong postures up.
Kong is in close to Taylor's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Taylor is rocked!
That has opened up Rex Taylor's cut even more.
Kong postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Taylor covers up, he's hurt! Kong keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kong and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kong can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cole Kong!
