The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinjo throws a poor cross that misses
and Kubrick counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kubrick avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Shinjo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Shinjo stuffs the takedown attempt from Kubrick. Kubrick gets slowly back to his feet.
Shinjo misses with a shot to the body
and Kubrick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shinjo throws a jab but it's blocked by Kubrick.
Shinjo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Shinjo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kubrick tries to clinch but Shinjo moves out of range.
Altansarnai Shinjo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kubrick connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Shinjo is rocked!
Shinjo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kubrick sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shinjo is still on wobbly legs! Can Kubrick finish him?
Shinjo throws a right hand that misses
and Kubrick counters with a crisp right that sends Shinjo to the canvas! Kubrick follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
