Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ambe (ranked 1683 p4p, 219 weight class) and Ivan Lyubenov (ranked 1822 p4p, 241 weight class). Ivan Lyubenov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ambe misses with a hook. Lyubenov ducked under it nicely.
Lyubenov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Ambe with a poor takedown
and Lyubenov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ambe has been working on his balance at Island Sparring, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Lyubenov.
Lyubenov lunges at Ambe with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ambe's hand.

Ambe is rocked!
Lyubenov lands an uppercut, right on the button! Ambe tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ivan Lyubenov!
A very excited looking Ivan Lyubenov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
